I’m currently running on Windows 7 starter on my new laptop (Asus) but I’d like to learn Linux. I was told to try the Mint version, but told if I screw up on the install it could leave my computer in an unbootable condition. Does anyone have any experience with Linux Mint? I have a friend that uses Linux but she uses the Ubuntu version.
